This started as a UX/UI exercise to practice designing specific components and placing that component within the context of an app screen. Visually representing how that component would be used or displayed within an app. Not spending too much time, just focusing on creating easy-to-understand and aesthetic designs. I decided to take one of the single-page designs I created and expand it into a clickable prototype. Trying to incorporate a lot of the components into one single application.
I decided to take one of the single-page designs I created and expand it into a clickable prototype. Trying to incorporate a lot of the components into one single application. I started by doing research into other housing applications like Rent.com or Zillow, taking into consideration where information is placed and how that information is accessed.
I began by mapping out the user flow, thinking about the types of components I want to use and how I could appropriately apply them within this app. Lastly, I came up with a name and logo for the app. I wanted to design something that was fun and inviting but also gave enough of a clue as to what the app would be used for.
I wanted to keep the color palette simple to give a sense of sophistication, but as with the logo,
I also wanted to still the color palette to remain inviting.
